WHO WE ARE
Individual Chapters is a collective of experienced directors who have not only held roles within local authorities but also have personal lived experiences of domestic abuse, violence, rape, human trafficking, hate crimes, and anti-social behaviour. This unique combination of professional expertise and personal understanding enables us to provide a holistic approach to supporting victims and survivors.
At Individual Chapters CIC, we envision a world where every person, regardless of their background, can rewrite their life story with resilience and hope. Our mission is to build inclusive communities, free from violence and discrimination, where survivors find strength, LGBTQIA+ individuals thrive, and empathy bridges gaps. We're dedicated to being a sanctuary of compassion, empowerment, and education, inspiring individuals to become agents of positive change. Together, we're writing a collective story of unity, healing, and progress, where every chapter shines with the unwavering belief in a brighter future.
At Individual Chapters, our mission is to create a safe and inclusive environment where victims and survivors of various forms of abuse find the understanding, peer support, and guidance they need to rebuild their lives. We believe that by combining our professional knowledge with personal empathy, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who have faced trauma.
WHAT WE DO
Our organisation offers a wide range of services, including advocacy support, signposting, and peer assistance for LGBTQIA+ individuals. We understand the unique challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ victims and survivors, and we are committed to fostering an environment that respects and uplifts all identities.
We provide training for organisations working within communities, focusing on enhancing their understanding of LGBTQIA+ issues. By promoting education and awareness, we strive to create a more accepting and inclusive society for everyone.
Safe and Inclusive Spaces:
Individual Chapters offer a secure and non-institutional environment for authorities, organisations, and individuals seeking to support victims and survivors. Our hot desk facilities provide a space where collaboration and assistance can thrive without the constraints of a formal setting.
Empowerment Through Experience:
We believe in the power of work experience and offer opportunities to survivors looking to rebuild their lives. By gaining practical skills and contributing to our projects, survivors can regain confidence and empowerment.
Filling the Gaps:
At Individual Chapters, we identify gaps in existing services for victims and survivors and develop projects to address these needs. Our commitment to innovation ensures that those who turn to us for help receive tailored and effective support.
